Here's why – Reality Check: First and foremost, most traders are never taught, or never discover that simple 3-point formula I just gave you.

And more specifically traders fail because...

1. There is NOT one trading system that works for everyone. You’ve probably heard this before – "there is no holy grail". There is not a magic system. So the perpetual search for the perfect system prevents most traders from reaching step 1 - adopting a system as their own.
2. A trader must accept full responsibility for his or her success. BAD NEWS - if you are looking for a person or service to simply hand you buy and sell orders, you’re doomed.
   GOOD NEWS - You don’t need to build your own system from scratch, but you should understand and believe in the rules you follow for buying and selling, and not just blindly follow a recommendation from someone else.
3. Long-term success requires proper execution of a trading plan. A great trading system executed poorly is just as dangerous as a losing system. A trading plan is how you ensure you are trading correctly. And it doesn’t have to be complicated!
4. Enjoyable trading requires matching your personality, with your trading objectives. Every person has a different tolerance for risk and volatility. No one would expect a person to excel at a sport that they hate to play, so why do traders feel they should succeed at trading market conditions that make them feel uncomfortable? There is no need, and it leads to failure.
5. Long-term success requires work, and the willingness to adjust. Markets are constantly changing. Trading requires understanding when your trading approach is working well and when it needs to be adjusted. This requires work. If you don’t enjoy the work involved with trading, quit now.

Please allow this Reality Check to sink in.

Unless you are willing and able to approach your trading with the 3-point formula above... no new system, course, special software, etc., is going to give you the long-term trading success you desire.

But once you "get it"...
Your trading is likely to reach a new level of success.
